About Me

About me

My journey with yoga has deepened over time – starting about a decade ago when I started going to community classes and doing yoga on youtube.

After a diagnosis of advanced endometrial cancer in 2019, I found yoga to be a source of support – offering me a way to find calm, manage anxiety and fatigue and to stay moving during treatment.

I chose to become a teacher because I wanted to offer yoga to others facing serious illness – from a space of solidarity and shared experience.

I also just love teaching! And I run a public class weekly at Emersons Green Village Hall – which is moderately paced and open to anyone.

As a queer person, I also love offering yoga to the LGBTQ+ community and offer an evening class focussed on community.

I have also connected deeply to yoga as a practice for social justice and liberation – and this work informs how I teach and practice yoga.

What people are saying

I’m really enjoying the yoga classes with Grace, they feel have a nice community vibe. Grace’s classes help you work with your body instead of trying to find this so-called perfect pose. In my previous class I zoned out in the meditation portion at the end, something I’ve been struggling with doing. Would definitely recommend !

I have done a 1:1 class with Grace, as well as her autumn and yule yoga group classes. She has such a soothing, compassionate presence and is very attuned to what people might be needing. She puts her heart into her work and I felt very accepted, however I had been feeling on the day. She seems very proactive in her quest to make the classes as accessible and inclusive as possible, and always reminds us of yoga’s origins. Would recommend
