Inclusive yoga in Bristol

Hello there! I am Grace (she/they) based in Bristol.

As a Hatha and Restorative yoga teacher, I focus in creating inclusive practices. My aim is to support and empower each person to make yoga work for them.

I truly believe yoga should work for your body and not the other way around.

I completed my 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training at Bristol School of Yoga in 2025 after many years’ of personal practice. I came to yoga during my experience of womb cancer. Yoga gave me the language to converse with my body and meet it wherever it was during treatment and recovery.

Each of my classes offer slightly different experiences – I currently run a Thursday lunchtime yoga class, a queer yoga class (for the LGBTQ+ community) and an online low energy class – designed for chronic illness and open to all!

Qualifications

  • 200 Hours Hatha and Restorative Yoga Teacher training (YTT) at Bristol School of Yoga
  • 7 hours yoga for cancer + 40 hours yoga for cancer (pending) from Yoga by Nature
  • Trauma-informed Community Yoga by Bristol Yoga Roots Project

My offerings

I offer classes focused on inclusivity – using lots of props with chair variations.
I run a queer beginners’ yoga course which offers a safe and inclusive space focussed on the fundamentals of yoga!
Coming soon! As someone ‘living with cancer’, I am keen to offer yoga to others and share the benefits I received throughout my journey. I am currently working towards a ‘yoga for cancer qualification’ and will be offering this soon!
